My work is rooted in a traditional approach to painting and drawing. As many artists have in the past, my work challenges notions of reality and as-sociations made by our minds. I am inspired by the idea of communicating with people, and the filters and barriers we all see the world through. My most recent series deals with the geometric chemical structures of prescriptions and other mind altering substances which take physical form within the environment. I am continually pushing the idea of personal experiences being as physical as a canvas.
