Artist Statement: As a sculptor, I walk through our world mindful of form and space, finding inspiration in the "prima materia" of our everyday lives. I draw from this perception to create figurative bronze sculptures based upon my interpretation of mythology. Mythology is an influence on my life and plays an important and perhaps forgotten role in human society.

My work focuses on the human figure and although every person is unique, I feel it is our shared human experience that unifies us. I use the expressiveness of the body to convey the story and mystery of myth. My choice of bronze as a medium, reflects both a strength and sensuality that speaks of the human body.
