Artist Statement: "For me Art is a place. A graceful place filled with peace and beauty. Through ever experience of my life I have had this place to return to. It is a calm haven, safe and renewing."

"My work is about the memories that have made me the person I am. My memories are of living with my grandmorether. We had a simple life. We sat on the front porch as neighbors stopped by to talk about her beautiful gaden. I played in the back yard as she hung clothes on the line...my inspiration for the artwork I create comes from days spend in the elegance of her calm."
