Kevin Rockwell

-About the Artist- Kevin W. Rockwell, native of Charleston, SC, graduated from Ringling School of Art, in Sarasota, FL, 1980. He was a medical illustrator at the Medical University of South Carolina for over 10 years, until a friend commissioned a “Dog Park” painting in 2003. Since then, painting has become a full time occupation. His style is both representational & whimsical, using strong colors and 3D canvases. Mr. Rockwell was featured in Southern Living Magazine Oct. 2009; the story was titled “The Dog Painter”.
