Artist Statement: "As Long as I can remember, art making has been a vital part of my life. It may have started at the age of five, when I sewed a small primitive doll of cotton fabric. Last year I visited with relatives in Austria’s countryside. Finding it to be quite pleasant to sit through many conversations held around me, I felt a strong urge to transfer onto paper my inspirations gained from such an old world atmosphere."

"My full time studies at Sarasota’s Ringling College enlightened and influenced me to frequently work in a surrealist manner. Ideas gained form Renaissance symbolism hold an endless fascination for me."
