Art and creativity is my life, energy, and happiness. 

I am a landscape and still-life watercolor and acrylic painter. I appreciate the academics and study of art in any media. I especially enjoy the spontanious discovery throughout a painting's development that proves most valuable. As a painting progresses, I enable the piece visually suggesting direction.

I discovered my fascination with art, architecture, and graphic design at an early age. Fine artist and painter Richard Lazenby encouraged my early talents assigning me to mural and photographic projects. I then attended Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. During this period my interest in painting was ignited by trips to Sarasota Beach, the local Spanish architecture, and the surrounding tropical landscape. Instructor and fine artist Morris Mitchell was a strong and valuable influence during my years at Ringling. Since that time I have dedicated my creativity in fine arts, graphic design, illustration, and photography. I also developed an interest in horticulture and organic gardening. My work tends to have a horticulture influence. I have created many illustrations for books, posters, marketing, and advertising campaigns.
