In the steps of the Masters, van Gogh, Monet, Hopper and many others. I try explore my painting vision while being a Plein Air Artist.
I take a look around at the environment that surrounds me and then try to relay it back to the viewer. By pulling the audience into the canvas and to create a different way of looking at nature. To see all the color and excitement that is arounds us. To take the viewer to a memory that they have experienced and to relieve it and to leave an impression. At times breaking the scene down to basic shapes.
I have shown my art in galleries since 1990. Have been juried into many shows and different One-Person Exhibits. Recieving various awards along the way.
Currently coming off a One-Person “iexplore” Exhibit at the Center for the Arts of Bonita Springs in June 2021. The “iexplore” Exhibit contained 58 oil paintings. In July, I recieved a 3rd Place Ribbon in the“National Identity Exhibition” Group Exhibit at the same gallery.
In September 2021, I was a featured artist at the Harbour View Gallery in Cape Coral located at the Cape Harbour.
