Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Emily Smith is descended from Cherokee Indian and from the British royal family heritage. Smith is a self-taught artist as art classes were limited in Chattanooga. In 2018, she was admitted into Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. In May 2023 she graduated with a Fine Arts painting degree and has recently been accepted into the New York Academy of Art for grad school.
