Attracted to the posters of the WPA period, Japanese woodblock prints and the color woodcuts of Gustave Baumann, George began to focus on event posters and art prints. His art has been used to illustrate books, events, locales, religious figures and more and has won over 30 national design awards. George now works from his studio in Pass-a-Grille, Florida. When taking a break from his work, George can be seen running along the beach, swimming in the Gulf of Mexico, or enjoying a late afternoon stroll with his wife, Jeanne, along the picturesque by-ways of Pass-a-Grille, one of George’s favorite subjects.  George’s Pass-a-Grille posters can be found at Bamboozle on 8th Ave in Pass-a-Grille.  And, you can see more of George’s work at www.georgechaseprints.com.
