Suzanne Dufour Alumni Illustration '96
Suzanne Dufour, MPS, LPAT, ATR-BC, holds a BFA in Illustration from Ringling (1996) and an MPS in Art Therapy with a concentration in Special Populations (2010) from The School of Visual Arts, NYC. She is currently a state-licensed, registered and board-certified Art Therapist specializing in grief and loss who has worked with various populations and ages over the past 17 yrs. Suzanne is a former president of the New Jersey Art Therapy Association and was awarded the state chapter’s highest honor of Honorary Lifetime Member (2023) for her dedication to the profession and its New Jersey members.
Suzanne’s artwork is often whimsical, incorporating vintage fabrics, antique and repurposed/ upcycled materials. Her inspiration is drawn from nature, music, theater, childhood memories, favorite places, treasured stories and travels with her family. She currently lives on a farm with her husband, two children and their pets, including dogs, cats, goats, chickens and ducks. She also finds creativity through baking and cooking.
